Black hole
Extremely dense body that has compacted due to its own gravitational forces to such an extent that nothing, not even light, can escape from it. In theory, a black hole is a collapsed object, probably massive star, in space. Its gravitational field is so strong that it is virtually impossible for any matter or light to escape it.
